Program and performers
The chronology records that artists from China and the Harvard Symphony Orchestra, together with the Asian American Art Troupe and others, presented gymnastics, instrumental performance, singing, and dancing, and “showed the talent of [the] Asian community.”
The Organization Overview (English official PDF p. 9; Chinese 亞美節 entry) says the 3rd festival was mainly performed by the Asian American Art Troupe, and that a pipa player from mainland China who was a champion of international competitions was also invited. The yearbook does not name that pipa player.
The Klysler Yen interview repeats: the third festival starred the Art Troupe, and pipa players from mainland China were invited.
