ESOL Education (English for Speakers of Other Languages)

The Asian American Association of Boston (AAAB) is launching an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) program to help community members improve their English skills for use in daily life, the workplace, and various learning opportunities.

AAAB’s inaugural ESOL program launches in April 2026. It is a free, 10-week online course conducted via Zoom.

  • Course Dates: April 4, 2026 – June 6, 2026
  • Schedule: Every Saturday
  • Time: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM

Course Content:

  • Conversational English for daily life situations, such as shopping, dining out, and workplace communication
  • Skills in pronunciation, active listening, and effective expression
  • Social interaction skills for community engagement, networking, and casual gatherings

Teaching Method: Led by experienced ESOL instructors using role-playing, small-group discussions, and real-life scenario simulations.

Eligibility: Open to adults aged 18 and older at all English proficiency levels; especially suitable for Asian immigrant learners.
